Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Laohu platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Laohu is an AI-powered business intelligence platform that enables users to query connected data warehouses using natural language, generate visualizations, and build reports. The Service includes the web application, AI agent, data connectors, and related features.

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at security@laohu.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; use the Service to process data you do not have lawful rights to access; attempt to circumvent security measures or access controls; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; share account credentials with unauthorized parties.

You retain all rights to your data. Laohu does not claim ownership of data processed through the Service. We access your connected data sources in read-only mode to execute queries on your behalf. We do not copy, store, or transfer your underlying business data except as necessary to deliver query results.

AI memory data (schema metadata, business definitions, query patterns) generated through your use of the Service belongs to your organization and is deleted upon account termination.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to interpret queries, generate SQL, and produce visualizations. While we implement multiple validation layers, AI-generated outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of results before making business decisions based on them.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including your data warehouse infrastructure.

Pricing and subscription terms are as agreed in your service order. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We may update pricing with 60 days' notice.

The Service, including its AI models, algorithms, user interface, documentation, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of Laohu ApS. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laohu's total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data loss.

Either party may terminate these Terms with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend access immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access ceases and we delete your data within 90 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, unless otherwise agreed in your service order.
